High school football on Wazoo Sports is underway beginning with coverage
of the Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic Kickoff Classic held August 14 & 15, 2008.  Twenty Knoxville area high school football teams competed in the 19th annual event.

Each school played one quarter in the Jamboree series that featured five match-ups each night as well as individual competitions at half time in kickoff, punt, pass and the 50 yard dash. 

The KOC Kickoff Classic showcased some of the top high school football teams, players and coaches in the area and Wazoo Sports brought it to high school football fans everywhere LIVE with the click of a mouse. ON DEMAND viewing of all the action will be available over the next 24 hours.

Wazoo Sports, Inc. collaborated with PrepChamps to further promote high schooL athletes during the Reebok's Summer Basketball Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada July 22nd through 26th. Wazoo Sports broadcasted 31 games LIVE during the championship. All 31 games are available ON DEMAND at www.wazoosports.com.

The Reebok Summer Championships was the country's largest open division tournament during the July evaluation period. A total of 224 teams traveled to Las Vegas to be crowned champions in the Open A, B, C and High School divisions.

Helping high school athletes improve their chances of getting recognized and recruited, PrepChamps.com is an online social recruiting community for high school sports.  PrepChamps allows athletes to showcase their talent by creating a free online profile, posting statistics, photos and uploading video highlights.  Together, PrepChamps and Wazoo Sports offered student athletes, fans, scouts and coaches a bit more.

Wazoo Sports will begin LIVE coverage of the Reebok Summer Basketball Championship on Tuesday July 22nd and will broadcast until the last team battles on Saturday July 26th. Wazoo Sports, Inc. has announced the creation of the "Bluegrass Gridiron Series" and the "Volunteer Gridiron Series" as their focus on broadcasting high school football this Fall. Both the Bluegrass and Volunteer "Gridiron Series" will showcase some of the top high school football teams, players and coaches in their respective states, and will bring the best "rivalries" in Kentucky and Tennessee to high school football fans everywhere with the click of a mouse.

The games that make up the "Gridiron Series" will feature power house programs rich in tradition, as well as up-and-coming teams from both states. Wazoo will broadcast these football games beginning in mid August through the end of November, and the games will be covered LIVE and will be available for unlimited ON DEMAND viewing as well.
